Introducing a new era of askporter

We’ve unveiled a new logo and branding to mirror the growth of our technology.

We recently unveiled a complete brand refresh as part of an exciting new phase in askporter's journey. For us, the rebrand is much more than simply an update to our logo and website: it’s an indication of a turning point for the business as we continue to grow and enhance our AI solution for real estate.

As the old adage goes, a picture paints a thousand words, and so this visual change represents more than just a modernisation and shift to a more technical look. We want to demonstrate the significant advance in askporter’s technology and overall offer while maintaining the sense of approachability and customer service that people have come to expect from us.

So, how did it all come together?

To achieve the redesign, Katie White, askporter’s Marketing Director teamed up with branding expert, Lester Clark. It was essential that, as a team, we focused on our values and how we wanted to be perceived.

Katie White commented: “We felt that the original askporter logo didn’t portray us as an innovative tech company, and lacked a clear indication of what we did. Our first logo was developed from a 1930s customer service image, but askporter is an AI company. The old design was not strong enough to represent the service and technology that we actually offer.”

“Our job wasn’t just to rebrand askporter, but to help bring the company into a new era of AI product development,” explains Lester Clark, Founder of Lester Clark Design. “Because what they’re doing is truly changing the way facilities and properties are managed, we wanted to highlight their role in using groundbreaking technology to make industries more efficient.”

After careful deliberation, we decided that maintaining the colour palette and name was key. With that in mind, we focused on refreshing the brand through new wording, a strapline, and a symbol that better explains what we do.

What’s changed?

Our logo now consists of a merged ‘a’ and ‘p’ in the form of a speech bubble.

It was essential that we forged a visual indicator that suggested virtual dialogue through the use of the chat bubble - a central component of askporter’s digital assistant. By keeping things simple, with the core letters of the askporter name, we also wanted to convey ease of use, efficiency, and collaboration as central parts of the askporter offer. This is a new way to identify us as a brand, and the logo can be used in both horizontal and vertical alignments, depending on the use case.

We also wanted to help people more easily understand what we do from the get-go. With that in mind, we have introduced a strapline that can sit under the logo where required. Trying to distil the depth of our AI technology into a few words was virtually impossible. However, after some fierce internal debate(!) we felt that we could summarise the core of the askporter offer as: ‘AI for Real Estate Management’.

As a top-of-the-funnel marketing tool, a strapline can’t explain our full value proposition and everything that makes us unique, but it does clearly articulate the heart of our offer.

What else is happening?

With some major new partnerships on the horizon and more features being added to our platform, the brand refresh is just one part of an exciting phase of growth for askporter this year.

We’ve made significant developments to the product, increasing speed and improving other aspects of our AI solutions. Plus, we’ve harnessed some of the recent developments in AI software to further improve our digital assistant.

We’re excited to share more updates with you in the coming months, but in the meantime, let us know what you think of our new look!
