The askporter team travel to Lisbon
The askporter team embarked on our biannual work retreat earlier this month, journeying to the vibrant city of Lisbon. Embracing our 'remote-first' company culture, these retreats hold a special place within the askporter family, allowing us to come together in person and foster team unity.
Our retreat kicked off with an extended Town Hall meeting on the first morning, during which sector leaders shared their insights into the company's future. Exciting discussions revolved around the integration of generative AI into our product offerings and other forthcoming developments. To mark the occasion, team members received branded merchandise showcasing our new branding, and we capped it all off with a company photo shoot.
The day continued with an engaging walking tour of Lisbon, guided by askporter's own Fabio Fernandes, who, as a local, offered us unique insights into the city's hidden gems. We meandered through the historic heart of Lisbon, explored local markets, and stopped by the iconic A GinJinha Bar, which has been serving its signature drink, Ginja, since 1840.
Our time spent together in this captivating city allowed us to connect, brainstorm, and exchange ideas in an inspiring setting. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Lisbon for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.
